Agent was added later when people complained that the campaign wasn't coopable. He's an afterthrought so he can't interact with stuff. Even though it's possible to change that with some modding, I think. Funny enough, now you're kinda doing the opposite. Agent has separate inventory, so you wouldn't lose anything. #1.
RE5 servers are still up, same with RE6. Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 are the games that you're looking for. The online mode works fine on both games. RE5 and 6 are some of the best co-op experiences you can have. 5 is paced better and is generally just a better game, but once 6's combat clicks it's an awesome action game.
IMPORTANT NOTE:To make sure player 2 can join player 1's game, make sure you change network selection ingame to 'Local' and the coop settings should be set
So if you completed a characters campaign as one member, (say Leon), you can play online and collect things for Helena. When you return to playing split-screen on your system, your Leon will still have whatever you collected from his campaign, and your Helena will have whatever you collected for her.
Latest Steam version now has native splitscreen for 2 players max but with this handler you can still play modes like versus up to 4 players, use vertical splitscreen, use multiple kb/m and monitors etc. -Download latest Nucleus Co-op and extract it. -Then follow this .
